Police investigating after trailer smashes into Orillia Power sign

A Loose Trailer coming at you is terror on the road.

The OPP are investigating after a trailer hauling a riding lawn mower detached from a vehicle and smashed into the Orillia Power sign on West Street South today (May 1).

Police believe the vehicle was travelling southbound early this afternoon when the trailer became detached and collided with the display sign.

The driver of the vehicle left the scene, the OPP told Simcoe.com.
