WOODLAND TWP., Mich. — Authorities say at least five people were hospitalized after a trailer came loose causing a crash on M-66 Saturday evening.

Both northbound and southbound lanes of M-66 after Eaton Highway were shutdown in Barry County, according to MDOT.

The call came in around 7:45 p.m., according to Barry County Central Dispatch.

Authorities told our crew on scene a truck smashed through the back of camper after it apparently unlatched from another truck.

The extent of injuries was not immediately known.

Drivers are urged to find an alternate route while the road remains closed.
