Tractor-trailer overturns on Hull Street Road

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A tractor-trailer overturned on Hull Street Road Wednesday morning.  

According to police, the truck was making U-turn at Dyer Lane when the trailer broke loose and flipped on its side.

No one was injured in the crash, which happened just before 7 a.m. The cab of the truck stayed upright and minimal damage was done to the area.

One lane of Hull Street Road remains blocked off as crews work to clear the scene.

Police say charges are pending as the crash remains under investigation.

Why did the trailer come off the hitch?

They never want to answer our questions....why?

If a jet engine came off a airline wing and hit a home or better yet the Governor Of Virginia House you bet your life they would want to know why ....right?

But

Everybody keeps ignoring our questions so we can develop "Best Practice" safety standards to address why so many trailers keep coming off the hitch.
