Once again we  have another loose horse trailer accident.  We are going to secure through the FOIA act to obtain the accident report and if it takes us years to obtain we will do so.  Once again our  experience with Henrico County VA is their attempts to destroy our life saving cause.  Time and time again instead of joining our cause they seek ways to destroy our cause from intimidation to attempts to make our life very difficult.

The elite establishment in Washington DC who advocates this entire industry to operate on a "Voluntary Safety Standard"  to these farmers who simply use the "Farm Use" TAG to avoid any safety standards is stunning.

Questions that we seek answers to:

• Where was the safety chains?
  
• What happened to the emergency breaks on the trailer
  
• Did the hitch fail?
  
• Did the safety chains fail?
  
• When was the double axle trailer last inspected?
  
• Who trained the drivers to connect the trailer?
  

HANOVER, VA (WWBT) -

Both Henrico and Hanover fire crews were on scene of an accident on I-295 where a horse trailer overturned in the woods. Unfortunately, a horse was trapped inside.

It happened at 10:42 a.m. in Hanover County.

While crews were working to clear the scene, several veterinarians were called in to calm the horse.

In the end, the horse was able to get a new trailer.
