An Arlington High School senior was transported to Memorial Community Hospital and Health System in Blair following an accident Wednesday afternoon involving two mini-motorcycles.
The accident happened on West Dodge Street as the annual AHS senior parade was wrapping up.
Sgt. Shane Thallas with the Washington County Sheriff's Office said two students — a boy and a girl — were riding motorcycles in the parade when the boy tried to go between a UTV and the girl's motorcycle, causing the two motorcycles to collide.
The girl was sitting up and talking to Arlington Rescue squad members. Thallas said she had visible injuries to head and face.
The accident remains under investigation and a citation is pending, Thallas said.
