LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) - Lowndes County organization Shaw Pit Bull Rescue says the theft of its trailer is making the organization's expansion more difficult.

The trailer was stolen the night of Friday, April 27 from the organization's new site on Old New Hope Road. Construction is still ongoing at the site.

"Well it just slows everything down. We have to do things the hard way because you don't have a trailer to haul things on," said Kenneth Shaw.

Shaw says the theft was caught on camera. 

The Lowndes County Sheriff's Department is asking the public for help solving this crime. Anyone with information can call the office at 662-328-6788.
